Asus ZenPad 3S 10 LTE Tablet With Snapdragon 650 SoC, 7,800mAh Battery, 4GB RAM Launched
Asus has launched a new version of its ZenPad 3S 10 tablet that comes with LTE support. The ZenPad 3S 10 LTE (Z500KL) is not to be mistaken with the ZenPad 3S 10 LTE (Z500M), which was launched last year with a 2.1GHz hexa-core MediaTek MT8716 chipset inside. The tablet is priced at MYR 1,799 (roughly Rs. 28,000) in Malaysia, and comes bundled with a protective cover and custom stand.
The tablet comes with LTE support and sports a 9.7-inch (not 10-inch) display that supports 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution. The device upgrades to a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexa-core SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. Internal storage offering remains the same at 32GB, however Asus offers 5GB of lifetime cloud storage space, and 100GB of Google Drive space for two years.
The tablet features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter. It’s powered by a generous 7,900 mAh battery, which should provide users with up to 16 hours of usage or 150 hours of standby.
The tablet runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, GLONASS & AGPS, and the 3.5mm audio jack. The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 LTE is available only in Slate Grey. The tablet’s measure 242.3×164.2×6.75mm and weighs 490 grams.
