Asus ZenWatch 3 Android Wear Smartwatch Launched in India Price Starting Rs. 17,599
Asus on Friday has launched Asus ZenWatch 3, it’s third generation Android Wear smartwatch that has a built in activity tracker with a round dial in India. The watch is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones. It was introduced at the IFA earlier this year and is just 9.95mm thick. The smartwatch will be available exclusively via Flipkart for Rs. 17,599, and go up to Rs. 18,999, while a zero-cost EMI option is also being touted.
The Asus ZenWatch 3 has been made available in three models in India. The WI503Q-1LDBR0015 model features a Gunmetal case and a Dark Brown Leather strap. It has been priced at Rs. 18,999, The WI503Q-2RBGE0007 model bears a Silver case and a Beige Rubber strap. It has been priced at Rs. 17,599, the WI503Q-1RGRY0007 model sports a Gunmetal case and a Brownish Grey Rubber strap. It has been priced at Rs. 17,599.
ZenWatch 3 features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display for a dial, topped with a curved 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to aid smooth swiping in access and save it from scratches. The display has a resolution of 400×400 with a pixel density of 287ppi.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC, coupled with 512MB of RAM. It bears 4GB of inbuilt storage. The watch sports a 340mAh battery that can last for 1-2 days with HyperCharge technology that promises to charge it up to 60% in just 15 minutes.
It has a built in Microphone, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity and supports call and messaging. It features a digital crown, a customisable button, and a button that launches the ZenFit activity tracking app. The ZenFit activity tracking app can also track activities like push-ups, running, walking and sit-ups.
