Lenovo Phab2 Pro Tango-enabled Smartphone Launched In India: Price, Specifications, And More
Lenovo Phab2 Pro, the world’s first Project Tango-enabled smartphone, has been landed in India. The Chinese company on Thursday announced the availability details of the smartphone for the country. The smartphone has been priced at Rs. 29,990 and will go on sale online exclusively via Flipkart from Friday.
Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is the world’s first smartphone to feature Google’s Tango technology – a set of software and specially calibrated group of embedded sensors developed by Google to bring Augmented Reality (AR) experiences on relatively affordable phablet form factor by complimenting them with depth perception and 3D mapping to understand shapes and own location in the immediate surroundings.
The Phab2 Pro features a 6.4-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. It’s powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC built for Tango, coupled with 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card up to 128GB.
The Phab2 Pro bears a 16MP rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, a depth-sensing infrared camera with an imager and an emitter, as well as a motion tracking camera.
PHAB2 Pro houses a 4050mAh battery with Quick Charge support and has a fingerprint sensor at the back. The smartphone will be available in Champagne Gold colour.
It also features Dolby Atmos surround sound and Dolby Atmos Capture 5.1 that allows 5.1 recording sound. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It measures 179.8×88.5×10.7mm and weighs 259 grams.
