Micromax Bharat 2 With VoLTE Support Android Smartphone At Rs. 2,999 Launching Soon


Micromax will soon be launching its new affordable Bharat series phones in India soon. The Bharat 1 and Bharath 2 (Q402) are first set of devices to launch under this new series. Bharat 1 will be a feature phone with all basic functionalities and is priced at just Rs. 1,999. While as Bharat 2 is going to be a smartphone that will run on android OS and it costs just just Rs. 2,999. As of now, the smartphone is listed with ‘Coming Soon’ tag.


The Bharat 2 comes with a polycarbonate body and feature a 4-inch display with WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution. It is powered by the 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC9832) processor, along with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

On the camera front, there is a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front camera for selfies. The smartphone is backed up by a 1300mAh Li-Ion removable battery. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi-802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, a microUSB port and Accelerometer. The handset measures 120 x 63.6 x 10.05 mm.
