Oppo A57 With 16MP Front Camera Launching In India On 3 February
Oppo is all set to launch its selfie focused ‘Oppo A57’ smartphone in India next week. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer made the India launch announcement in a tweet on Friday, stating, “The all new #OPPOA57 is hitting the markets on the 3rd of February.” With the wording, it appears the smartphone will become available to buy from that day itself.
The launch of the Oppo A57 smartphone is now scheduled for 3 February. It was launched in China in November at a price of CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 16,000). For now, India price details of the Oppo A57 are not known.
Oppo A57 features a 5.2-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, along with Adreno 505 GPU. The smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB with a microSD card.
The Oppo A57 sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera is a 13-megapixel shooter with an aperture of f/2.2, and PDAF, along with an LED flash module.
Oppo A57 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box customised with Oppo’s ColorOS 3.0 skin on top and has a fingerprint scanner mounted on the physical home button on the front.
Connectivity options include, 4G LTE radios, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, and a USB port placed at the bottom of the handset. A 2,900mAh battery completes the package. The handset measures 149.1×72.9×7.65 mm and weighs 147 grams.
