Snapdeal Can Now Deliver Rs 2,000 At Your Doorstep Under Cash@Home Facility
Snapdeal on Thursday announced that it will deliver Rs. 2,000 cash to users’ homes as part of its new Cash@Home facility, which allows users to order cash and have it delivered to their doorstep. Users can request up to Rs 2,000 per booking and can use any ATM card to pay for the cash. Also, all the orders for cash will be delivered the next day itself.
Snapdeal’s courier partners will be carrying a PoS (Point of Sale) machines and consumers will need to to swipe their ATM card at the time of cash delivery. you need to install the Snapdeal app, and it uses your location data to check if there is cash available in your area. According to Snapdeal, if cash if available, you’ll get a push notification and an SMS notification, taking you to the order page.
However, the company will be charging a nominal amount of Rs 1 as convenience fee, which will needs to be paid through FreeCharge or through a Debit Card at the time of booking the order. There is a Rs. 2,000 per day limit on the booking, and you don’t have to order anything else.
Snapdeal’s Cash@Home service is currently live in parts of Gurugram (read Gurgaon) and Bengaluru, and only works through the app.
