Vodafone Red Postpaid Offers Free Calls And Additional Mobile Data For Rs. 499
Vodafone has modified its Red postpaid plans to offer unlimited calls and more data to users in a bid to counter Reliance Jio and Airtel. Earlier this week, Airtel started offering 3GB of free mobile data per month to prepaid and postpaid customers switching to its 4G network.
Vodafone’s Red Postpaid 499 now includes unlimited local and STD calls. It also includes 1GB data as provided earlier, with 2GB 4G data if you have a 4G handset which makes a total of 3GB free data. The pack also includes 100 SMS. This means the company has increased the limit of 4G data to at least 3GB for its postpaid customers. The plans are starting Rs 499 and the benefits apply to 4G circles for free data.
For Rs 699, Vodafone Red postpaid users get exactly same calling, roaming and SMS benefits with 5GB of 3G/4G data or 2.4GB data for non-4G smartphone users.
For Rs. 899 Vodafone Red postpaid plan offers similar benefits, but increases the bundled mobile data to 8GB for 4G handset users (5GB for non-4G smartphones). Standard rates apply for outgoing calls on roaming.
Lastly, for Rs 1,299, one will get unlimited calls on both home and roaming network (both incoming and outgoing) paired with 100 SMS and 12GB 3G/4G data for 4G smartphone users and 8GB for non-4G smartphones.
