Vodafone Red Postpaid Plans Now Offer Unlimited Local And STD Calls, Bundled Data
Celebrating its 200 million customers milestone, Vodafone India on Monday introduced new deals for its Vodafone Red post-paid customers; offering updates to its existing plans that are giving unlimited voice calling (STD+local), free SMS, national roaming and data benefits.
Vodafone Red now has new Rs. 1,699 and Rs. 1,999 postpaid plans. The Rs. 1,699 Red postpaid plan comes with unlimited calls on home network as well as on roaming (i.e. free outgoing calls on roaming). It also comes with 100 text messages, and 20GB of bundled 4G/ 3G data for 4G smartphone users (16GB for non-4G smartphones). The Rs. 1,999 postpaid offers all the same things but with 24GB of bundled 4G/ 3G data for 4G smartphone users (20GB for non-4G smartphones).
The telecom operator will offer 3GB data for 4G users, 1GB of non-4G data, 100 free text messages, unlimited local and STD calls and free incoming on national roaming for Rs 499. The telco will offer 5GB non-4G data and 8GB 4G data with free calling, 100 free text messages and free incoming national roaming for Rs 999.
Vodafone’s Rs. 1,299 Red postpaid plan also offers all the same things as the higher denomination plans, but bundled only 12GB of 4G/ 3G data for 4G smartphone users (8GB for non-4G smartphones).
The price of Vodafone RED plans can vary according to circles. After the completion of the data quota consumption under the Vodafone RED plans, users will be charged at 50 paise per MB for further data usage.
Vodafone said that the plans are presently not applicable in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Bihar, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
