Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 4G Launched : Price, Specifications, And More
After entering the laptop segment, Xiaomi on 23 December launched the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 4G laptop in China with 4G connectivity support with a SIM card slot that offers download speed of up to 150Mbps. It also comes bundled with 4GB per month data plan on China. The Mi Notebook Air 4G 12.5-inch model has been priced at CNY 4,699 (Rs. 46,500 approx.) while the 13.3-inch model has been priced at CNY 6,999 (Rs. 69,500 approx.).
It has the same all-metal design and comes in 12.5-inch and 13.3-inch models with 1080p displays with 5.71mm and 5.59mm ultra-narrow borders, respectively. These models have 135-degree opening and closing hinge.
The 12.5 inch variant of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 4G laptop is powered by the Intel Core m3 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB SSD that’s expandable via a second SSD slot. Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, AKG dual speakers, and Dolby Digital surround sound support. It is 12.9mm thick at its thinnest, and weighs in at 1.07kg. The battery life of Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 4G is up to 11.5 hours. It comes with an HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Whereas the 13.3 inch variant is powered by the Intel Core i7(2 cores, 4 threads, max clock speed of 3.0GHz) processor with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB SSD. Other specifications remain the same as last time, including a Nvidia GeForce 940MX GPU with 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 256GB PCIe SSD. The second SSD slot on the 13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air 4G can be used for expansion. The battery life of Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 4G 13.3 inch variant is up to 9.5 hours. Other connectivity, ports, and audio options are the same as the 12.5-inch model. It weighs 1.28kg and is 14.8mm thick.
Both the variants run on the Windows 10 OS. The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 4G comes in Gold and Silver colors.
