Nokia’s First Android Powered Smartphone Nokia 6 Launched: Price, Specifications, And More
The Nokia brand is finally back in the smartphone game as HMD Global, which holds the rights to the name, announced its first Android smartphone the Nokia 6 via a release on its website.
The unibody Nokia 6 is built using 6000 series aluminium and its home button has an embedded fingerprint scanner. The Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD display wrapped in 2.5D Gorilla Glass. It is powered by the Snapdragon 430 chipset with an octa-core Cortex-A53, Adreno 505 GPU. The phone also comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and runs an Android Nougat operating system.
The Nokia 6 offers a f/2.0 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection auto focus and dual-tone flash, as well as an 8-megapixel f/2.0 front camera for selfies. The smartphone also includes Dolby Atmos tech and ‘dual amplifiers’ for louder sound. It is backed by a 3000mAh non-removable battery.
HMD Global is launching Nokia 6 as an exclusive to JD.com in China in “early 2017”. It will retail for 1,699 CNY(around $250 USD).
