Sony Cyber-shot HX350 Camera With 50x Zoom, 20.4MP Sensor Launched At Rs 28,990

Sony has launched its Cyber-shot HX350 point-and-shoot camera in India. The camera will be available exclusively via Amazon starting today for a price of Rs 28,990.

Cyber-shot HX350 features a 20.4-megapixel high-resolution illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor and BIONZ X imaging processor to provide seamless and accurate image processing. The ISO range is rated at ISO 80-3200, which can be expanded to 12800 in multi-frame NR mode. You get a focal length of 24mm at the wide end and 1200mm at the telephoto end (35mm equivalent) while the available aperture is f/2.8-6.3.

Like most of Sony’s zoom lenses, Cyber-Shot HX350 comes with a Carl ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T coating that is believed to help in the final image quality somehow. Beyond the usual 50x optical zoom on the lens, the camera offers digital zoom to double up the total magnification to 100x.

Cyber-shot HX350 is capable of recording Full HD video, with a manual adjustment of zoom/focus via a dedicated ring, and there is an easily-accessible mode dial and custom button for quick adjustment of settings. It can shoot in 24p movie format and maximum of 60p in Full HD resolution; and supports playback on a TV with up to 4K resolution.

HX350 offers a tiltable 3.0-inch LCD display with a 921 dot resolution. Camera supports Micro HDMI and Hi-speed USB 2.0 but there is no Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or NFC on board.
