Xiaomi Redmi 4A With 4G VoLTE, Snapdragon 425 SoC Launched At Rs 5,999 In India

Xiaomi has officially Launched Redmi 4A, its latest budget smartphone in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 5,999 and will be available exclusively via Amazon India and from 12pm IST, Thursday. It will be available in Dark Grey and Gold colour variants, while the Rose Gold colour variant will go on sale via from April 6.


Xiaomi Redmi 4A features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with Adreno 308 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD. The smartphone is powered by a 3120mAh battery with fast charging support and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system wrapped under MIUI 8.

Redmi 4A bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, a 5-lens system, an f/2.2 aperture, and an LED flash, while the front camera bears a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, and Bluetooth v4.1. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, infrared, and proximity. It measures 139.5×70.4×8.5mm, and weighs 131.5 grams.
